Suzhou World Inline Cup
Full Race Report
Just the second year the Suzhou World Inline Cup Marathon has taken place. It’s still a young event but this year there was a good turnout from all the WIC teams for the big race. The men’s race had some big technical problems when the organisation did not close off the road and the breakaway group of 4 (including Shane Dobbin of Sportvital Rollerblade World) was made to stop because there were hundreds of people across the circuit. All this happened just 5 kilometres from the finish and by then it was too late to change the race.
During the ladies race the Tamara Llorens and Michaela Neuling of Sportvital Rollerblade world made many attacks to make the race hard.
In the end it was a sprint finish where Laura Lardani of Sportvital Rollerblade World crossed the finish in first place and took another victory to her name in 2007.
