CadoMotus signs Spruyt and Swings brothersCadoMotus Skating and Belgian world-class skaters Ferre Spruyt (23), Bart Swings (17) and Maarten Swings (20) have agreed on a partnership for the 2009 inline season. Bart Swings is known as one of the World's biggest skating talents, winning multiple gold medals at the 2008 Junior World Championships in Gijon, Spain. Ferre Spruyt and Maarten Swings showed their abilities also, together winning silver in the relay event at the European Championships and Spruyt winning the German Blade Challenge. Both athletes and CadoMotus representatives are very pleased with the collaboration. Tanya Dobbin, Team Manager, says: "They fit in extremely well with our company profile. They are talented, very motivated, down to earth and they love the sport of inline skating. They really represent the Pure Skating identity." "The fact that the three of us can stay together means a lot to us," says Spruyt. "We are training partners for years now and this is a huge advantage when it comes to racing as a team." The team will be racing marathon events in Germany, Holland and France, and focusing on the major track tournaments and Championships - with the possibility that the currently all-Belgian group will be further strengthened by the addition of one or two more skaters.
