As a manufacturer of performance wheels, we take serious any and all issues related to our product’s performance and quality. Therefore, we felt it important to relay to those loyal users as well as those that need assurances, Matter is and will continue to be the leader in wheel technology, performance and quality.

We were proud to introduce with our partner, Powerslide, the 2009 Matter Line at both Gera for the European Championships (winner of 67 of 72 medals) and at Gijon for the World Championships.
The line has a minor cosmetic facelift introducing some new core colors and graphics…and, for us most exciting, New Technology Introductions in the line including new Track and Road wheels utilizing both our patented Hollow Core technology (HC) and advanced Energy Management Technology (EMT).
In addition, we have implemented state of the art Sonic Welding Technology (SWT) in our 110mm hubs to bring additional bonding strength and rigidity necessary as our hubs (and wheels) continue to grow in size.

The concept of the Hollow Core Technology started several years ago as we believed the race market was missing the mark by simply focusing on urethane technologies. For us, the Hollow Core provides benefits in several prominent areas: Weight reduction; added stiffness; and, finally, additional snap provided by the hollow outer ring.
We believe strongly that the outer ring needs to support the urethane with rigidity as a softer underbelly will absorb too much of the necessary rebound needed for ultimate speed. EMT was developed to enhance our product by providing a way to better manage the energy created by our superior urethane. The results at the Euro Championships at Gera, Worlds at Gijon and across the globe are ample evidence of EMT’s effectiveness.

Rest assured, our design team is not resting on our historical success. We are currently working on several new exciting, patentable projects to further enhance our Sport.
