picture from the month for meby Briand Pascal (June 12, 2008) here is one of the picture from my 500m in gross gerau, i was in semi final with kwinten tas...in the last corner i kick my skate and loose control...i went straight and almost crash in the turn...i was lucky that this metallic protection was here, i could hit that and go back on the track....

Aaron Arndt Injury Update- An Open Letter To DJ Nationby Peter Doucet (June 22, 2008) To DJ Nation; If you’re willing, Aaron Arndt wishes to rent your PSP- inclusing all games- for 20 euro.
To The Skating Community: After speaking with Aaron Arndt about his crash and his injuries that occured in the Weinfelden World Inline Cup race, he asked me to dispell two myths;
A) He was not taken to the hospital via helicopter. He waited for about 1-hour with paramedics along his side while other injured skaters were being taken away by ambulance.
B) He did not beat up any children
Aaron informed me that the crash took place when the pack was zooming at about 80km/h. He couldn’t avoid the pile of fallen skaters in front of him, tried to jump over them as they were falling, and he was caught up in the mass of falling skaters. He flipped in the air a few times and ended up in the grass.
The crash happenned about 13km into the race. A number of skaters ended up in cornfields and in the grass. He confirmed that the number of skaters who fell was about 50.
He expects that reports of other skaters suffering serious injuries will arise over the next few days. According to Aaron, there are three other skaters in the same hospital where he is hospitalized.
He has undergone a surgey to secure his dangling foot- and he now has external fixators. Check them out on google.
These fixators have rods on them. He said that when his bed sheets rub along the external rods, it feels like they are a part of his body because they vibrate ever so slightly. It gives him the hebegeebees.
His elbows are swollen and purple (but not broken) and he has little skin left on his back.
He says hello to everyone out there. If you want to call him (from Canada), the phone # to his room is 001 41 52739899

SuppositionBill Begg (Jun. 23, 2008) To many people not there & not seen at the WIC races, making assumtions. - Yes 110 mm in some cases are a problem, on the feet of skaters, not capable of controlling them.
- The men are usually pretty good,no Two handed grabbing or relay pushes, forget the conspiracy theriores on the Weinfelden mens crash, it was a one off accidental problem on a nice user friendly piece of road.
- In the ladies one team is excessive with bad habits, but apart from that the rest nothing major as the 2 handed grabs & slings & full on relay pushes, the other teams soon get sick of that, there will always be some loose hands in Bunch sprints, but two handed out right grabbing & full on relay pushes have to be outed.
- Check out the big bike race crashes, +%$$ happens in Big bunches going fast, unfortunately this one hurt quite a few.
- Kalon was involved in a 50 km an hour crash training today with Peter Micheal, so that was no one elses fault.
