AM-Wing SP+ Review

Hub:
I have to say that AM-Wing has done some precision work. Every bearing and spacer fit and harmonize perfectly, resulting in great spin with little work behind it (MPC fairs poorly... Matter and Hyper work out fine. Gyro has a great hub).
The hub consists of two identicle pieces and a black inner ring. Unlike Matter's/Answer's hub there is no cracking or any other problem. The general hub material is stiff and stable. The hub has a total of 13 spokes.
The hub also has the date printed on it. If anything goes wrong with a wheel batch the date on the hub can clear things up. Something all customer-friendly companies should start doing.
I really like the hub, because it is stiff, light and has been created with precision and a lot of thought.
Rebound:
I won't reviel too much here, but the SP+ has the highest measured rebound of any 100mm wheel so far: Beating MPC VT firm + x-firm + Black Track, Hyper Stripe, Matter F1 and PC-Vane Truespeed.
Packaging:
Each set of wheels comes with it's own AM-Wing bag. These bags are great!
Test:
I'll start with the bad stuff:
The wheel is useless on wet aspahlt. If you skate in the rain with these wheels you better start praying. I recommend sticking to different wheels during bad weather. This wheel is made for dry asphalt at any temperature.

The SP+ has a smooth and fast roll. I skate on a stiff TruRev frame and when skating with a Matter or Hyper on you can feel each pebble in the asphalt. The SP+ doesn't let the rough asphalt get to your legs/knees. I had some bad asphalt during the test and the ride stayed smooth.
The difference between AM-Wing's SP+ and most wheels is the exceptionally good roll. The wheels have a better roll than Matter F1's (the standard of outdoor wheels) and MPC VT's. MPC promoted their wheels as a different "feel" to skating due to their dual durometers. They said "it's the time (you skate) that counts" and not the (sluggish) feel. Now think about skating with the smoothness of a VT, but without that slow/sluggish feeling. Thats the SP+.
The SP+ has the exact amount of grip needed for street races. I didn't slip once (on dry asphalt). You don't feel like you're sticking to the asphalt (like with MPC's). The wheels will transfer all of your push to the asphalt (unlike PC-Vane's).
Wear:
No wear after 30+ Km.
Summary:
AM-Wing has a professional, high-end racing wheel that will aid pro skaters with reaching the podium as well as any skater with improving their personal best marathon time. I wasn't the only skater suprized with the performance of this wheel (my coach wants them now). I haven't skated on a better road wheel so far. AM-Wing has a superior mix for dry conditions. The characteristics (great roll, good grip and stable hub) make this a wheel that can take on mass sprints as well as support a skater through long distance races (the womens A2A winner and the mens New York 100Km winner were both on AM-Wings). The wheel doesn't make it into the category for allrounders (Matter F1), because of it's rain properties, but if the weather is good this is the wheel to be on.

CP3 is another series of out door track racing wheel, the wheel is recommend for long distance track racing! The design of CP3 is focus on the balance between Speed and Grip at Straight line and Cornering for the Continuous sprint handling & grip.
