お待たせ・・・World Inline Cup 2008のチームレギュレーションが配信されました。しかしWICルールブックは例年に無いほど遅れに遅れているようです。(注)：2008年のルールブックできました。ＰＤＦダウンロードできます。

New World Inline Cup Rulebook 2008

The new World Inline Cup Rulebook 2008 is online. The most important news is:

The worst result of all top class marathons and the worst result of all class 1 marathons will be cancelled within the World Inline Cup ranking.

The new rules from 2007 remain:

For the Top Class races in Incheon and Suzhou, the points scored by athletes are multiplied with the factor 1.6. The winner for example will score 200 points.
The Asian WIC races, only four (4) men from European, Australian and American WIC Teams can take place and will be ranked. On the other side European WIC races only four (4) men from Asian WIC Teams can take place and will be ranked.
For World Cup Top Class races, the second skater will score 110 points, the third skater 100 points.
For International Class 1 races the winner will score 60 points and the first 20 athletes will score points.
20% of an athlete's or team's prize money goes directly to the team owner.

World Inline Cup 2008
On April 19, the Zug in the Swiss seizoensopener shall consist in the battle for the World Inline Cup. Other Swiss matches still uncertain.

About the World Inline Cup 2008 is still much uncertainty. The organization (Iguana), two months before the season begins still no rulebook. However, yesterday announced that world teams from up to five men and four women may exist. Earlier reports were that mannenteams could consist of a maximum of four, but shortly before the season that is no longer a reality. In 2009, this change will in all likelihood be made.

This summer, the EC organized football in Switzerland and Austria. During this period, there also WIC's planned in Switzerland. It is still unclear whether these competitions, for security reasons, but can be carried. Zurich and Basel are still uncertain.
