Rollerblade World Team 2008 に Rollerblade ホームページに掲載された Diego Rosero と Francesco Zangarini のインタビュー記事を追加すると、ページの容量オーバーするので、男女に別けました。 Who will lead the Men Team in 2008? That is a question to be asked… And the Historical and natural leader of this squad is almost certainly Diego Rosero. When he came into the World Team in 2000 for the first time, he was very young, but nevertheless able to take some big responsibilities. He proved for many years now, that Rollerblade could trust in his loyalty and his professionalism. The Colombian from Cali did not win a WIC marathon in 2007, but he’s very motivated right now to show it was an accident! If Diego feels a little bit short in one sprint, he will surely be relayed by the Italian duet of sprinters, Luca Saggiorato and Francesco Zangarini. “Saggio” has been for five years now one of the fastest in the World in a massive sprint (he took three gold medals in 2007 in the WIC): with his compatriot and friend “Zanga”, they used to be one of the most performing pair of speed skaters on a 42K. The two last skaters of the Men Team are not the less respectable… Nicolas Iten is not really a sprinter, but maybe a magician: in 2007, he won two WIC that normally finish in some massive sprints… by escaping from the pack! It was in Seoul and Berlin, the first and the last stages of the World Marathon Series. Finally, Jorge Cifuentes will be the youngest as well as one new skater in the World Team this season. Does he have something in common with Diego? Yes and not only one thing: Jorge is Colombian, from Cali, very young, but already crown by silver (in Dijon) and bronze (in Incheon and Zurich) on the WIC! This proves he’s comfortable either in some breaks or in some massive sprints!
