 ２００８年にスニーカーとシェルに分離するPowerslide Blade & Walk が Salomon Smartskate の後継モデルとして登場します。ところが日本では認知度の低い U-Kan Skate から、同じコンセプトデザインの Skate & Walk がヨーロッパで販売されているようです。Powerslide と違い、数種類の中からスニーカーを選べる Skate & Walk は日本でも歓迎されると思いますが、日本国内の販売は未定です。
