Zephyr Adventures

Zephyr Adventures is a unique company in the adventure travel industry. We started as the world's first inline skating tour company and to this day prefer unique locations and real experiences over standard tourist vacations. We now operate a variety of adventures including self-guided, trekking, skating, wine, family friendly, and private trips. Whatever type of adventure you choose, however, you can always expect the following:

Real Experiences:
We try not to take the adventure out of adventure travel. We don't stay in one big group during the day and give you the freedom to decide how fast and how far you want to hike, bike, or skate. We take care of all the details but leave open the possibility of unexpected experiences.
Routes for all Abilities:
We have three route options of varying distances on most days of our tours. This allows you to choose where you want to fall on the exercise-relax seasaw for that day. Because we also have a support van available to give you a lift when needed, our adventures are suitable for almost all abilities.
Group Camaraderie:
We emphasize group camaraderie on our Adventures. You might show up alone or with a friend but you will leave with new friends from all over. Experiencing an incredible new culture can be amazing. Experiencing it with a group of friends is even better. Two thirds of participants on our tours have traveled with us before and the biggest reason they return is because of the camaraderie on our trips.
Excellent Lodging and Meals:
We stay in excellent hotels but prefer local, centrally-located inns over chain hotels. We eat in nice restaurants but will pass up a tourist trap for a small cafe in an out-of-the-way street. Giving you a quality, real experience is our goal.
Outstanding Guides:
We've saved the best for last. Our participants tell us over and over they love our adventures in large part because they love our guides. We think you will too.

Start-A-Round

Meet inline skaters from around the world on the water and on wheels! Every day you can decide whether you want to go inline skating or to stay on the boat to relax.

And the participants don't all inline skate together in a big pack. You don't have to skate with a large group of people, unless you want to. You can be more or less on your own, if you prefer, and do each skate tour at your own pace, stopping anywhere you want, for as long you want.

Skate-A-Round Best of Holland is designed with all kinds of inline skaters in mind.
Using the sailing boat superflexible, you can decide every few hours what to do: skate, sail or relax. The sailing boat is always near.

If you know how to brake, and you are pretty much used to 40km skatetours, than you can enjoy a fantastic midweek on wheels.
Our inline adventure however is for recreational skaters and is not some kind of PRO activity.

The participants come from several countries. In 2001 we have started as the first skate organisation ever with a holiday skating & sailing adventure, and people from more and more nations have joined us since.

Most come from Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium and the UK.

We hope skaters from skate nations as the US, Singapore, Argentina & Sweden will be present themselves to us in 2008!
