ブーツに新素材が使われ本皮だった頃より１００ｇほど軽くなったのは良いのですが、転倒などのアクシデントでブーツやフレームが受けるダメージが大きくなっているようです。素材の強度が十分あるとしても、耐久性に乏しいというか無防備になっていると思います。今回、ネットにアップされた画像を見ると考えられないほどヒドイです。高い買い物が、たった一度のミスでゴミに成るようでは困ります。
BONT is a famous brand in the world as a cool design and light weight skates for top skaters. And I found this photo of BONT Jet which was broken in a skating accident. I think BONT Jet is a new skate for advanced fitness skaters. However, have they never crashed at all? I want to get a light and tough skates but not fragile one.

特にフィットネス向けに新規参入したＢＯＮＴブーツなど見た目のデザインは美しいのですが、２００８年の Ｋ２ Radical 100 と比べてみても、こうした事に対する配慮が不足しているように感じます。こうなる前に、ユーザー各自がケブラーテープなど使ってダメージを受け易い外装部分を補強して置く事をお勧めします。これからは購入する時に、この辺りも考慮して置く事が大切でしょう。

What type of glue is used to hold together speed boots?
Contact cement or 3M Super 77 should work.
