Wheel_Love Blog は私が好きなＢｌｏｇの一つです。去る９月に掲載された Nike Windrunner Campaign 用 BE@RBRICK Street Skater の制作過程は面白かったので取り上げてみます。正直、このアグレッシブ BE@RBRICK は素晴らしい出来栄えだと思います。

Pimp My Bear

Kzzit @ Streething invited us to take part in the Streething x Nike Windrunner x Be@rbrick Project. The task: to give the popular collectible toy a fresh lick of paint and a fresh outlook. The point: to have the bears placed at selected Nike outlets around town. So, what’ll we do? Entahlah nak… give us a few days while we marinade.

Streething x Nike Windrunner x Be@rbrick Project
Streething is currently assisting Nike to execute a very interesting project which is to customize the 400% Nike Windrunner Be@rbrick for Nike’s upcoming Windrunner Campaign.

All we need you talented and creative people to do are the following:
Just customize the be@rbrick without blocking out the chevron (V) design on the front, or the Nike logo.

You have to pick up the be@rbrick from 17th September onward and return them by 26th September.

This is a joint effort therefore there’s no payment. Tt’s a great exposure as your work will be displayed at various Nike stores during the Nike Windrunner campaign.

Beary Pimped

Though we may not always agree with their business practices, you gotta hand it to Nike, they sure got the Malaysian designery crowd going with their Nike Windrunner x Be@rbrick design project. Many of the artworks submitted were really impressive (see examples HERE and HERE), whether or not they make the final cut and be put on display at various Nike outlets is another matter altogether. Here’s to everyone who participated- “Hot sweaty smacks on sunburnt backs all around!”

Here’s the bear Yeng and I worked on (well, mostly Yeng, I just stood over his shoulder throwing in my pointless 2 cents):
