１ヶ月ほど経つと、WICも開催可能なほど大きなスケールの多目的リンクがオランダに誕生します。上空から見ると・・・４００ｍオーバルリンクと、まるでグルグル一筆書きした迷路のような１周５キロのトラックコースが見えます。既にリンクには氷が張っているのか、ホームページにはアイススケートしている写真が掲載されています。まだ周囲に空き地が残っているので、いずれ宿泊施設とかキャンプ場などが出来るかも知れませんネ。

FlevOniceThe new FlevOnice in Holland opens in just over one month. FlevOnice is the new multi-sport venue in the middle of Holland where in the future they would like to hold a World Inline Cup.
by Tanya Dobbin (Oct. 16, 2007) On Monday the 15th of October I was invited to a press conference for the new multi-sport venue called FlevOnice in Biddinghuizen, Holland. There were many television crews, newspapers and press coverage from all over capturing as much information as they could about the opening in December. As the European weather is coming into Winter the five kilometre of road will be used for ice skating but once the Summer comes next year in March/April the circuit will be opened for Inline Skating, cycling, running and much more. Included in the FlevOnice is the 400-metre ice skating track that will hold in December and throughout January 2008 some of the KNSB Marathon races.
The big inline news for 2008 from the FlevOnice is that Holland and the FlevOnice organisation would like to hold a World Inline Cup here. It would be a great opportunity for the WIC to gain further recognition throughout the World and would add a stop in Holland on the WIC Calendar with this fantastic venue right at the hands of the skaters.
