何でも世界一志向の中国 Shanghai Jiangwan SMP に対抗するかのようにアメリカのテキサスに The most eXtreme sports park on the planet

Texas X-ParkThursday night, the council approved the $66 million development of the 200-acre Texas X-park.

The park, billed as the largest in the country, will offer everything from a professional skate park to a concert venue, camping, various motor parks, a paintball arena and much more. Developers hope it will attract ESPN events, like the X-games and also serve as a home base for area bike riders, skateboarders and other X-games athletes.

"This is Texas, and we're in Central Texas, so we should be the biggest. And that's what we're proposing," said Matt Tolbert, Texas X Park

    General

When will the park be open?
We are currently securing our entitlements for this development. There are dozens of permits that must be secured before construction, some are thirty day process and some require up to 18 months.
When your entitlements are secured how long is your construction phase going to take?
We are estimating eight months in the construction schedule, for Phase One.
What activities are in Phase One?
Phase one is all the activities, except the water sports, tow lake, and beach concert area. This phase of development has been pushed back to Phase Two, because of all the water rights and permits required.
How can we keep up with your progress, and opening date?
First we will schedule a really cool ground breaking ceremony once our entitlements are secured. There will be a lot of marketing info on this, so the word of these events should get to you. The construction schedule and opening date will be released at this ceremony. Second, you can always email us at info@texasxpark.com and type in “add me” to email list, and you will be informed of our progress.
How much will it cost to get in the park and to participate?
We are currently working on this part of the operation plan. We know that there will be many specials, family plans, tailored plans, and gold card and VIP membership, from daily to annual. Look for our specials coming soon.
How big is the Texas X Park?
It’s huge, with 110 acres and 203 total acres of the Leander Sports Entertainment & Destination Center.
What are the activities the TXP will host?
Good question, Skateboard, roller blades, BMX race, BMX free style, Motocross, ATV Park, Pee-wee park, paintball, beach concert, camping, training, RV park, mountain bike, fishing, wakeboarding, equestrian, marathons, circle track, jog, walk, run, volley ball, performing arts, magic acts, festivals, trade shows, exhibits, special attractions, demo’s, sports camps, archery, fireworks, Christmas trail of Lights, Halloween trails, shows, Bay blade, and a RC race car track.
What is planned in the Sports Entertainment & Destination Center?
Restaurants, concerts, ice skating, hockey, volleyball, basketball, soccer, football, gymnastics, karate, cheer, dance, lacrosse, hotels, and support tenants of retail and service.

    Skate Park

How big is the proposed skate park?
We have three phases that will total over 200,000 square feet of area.
What safety gear is needed to skate in the park?
You will need a helmet, knee, and elbow pads to skate.
I’m over 18 years of age, and a pro, am I still required to wear a helmet?
Especially you, my friend, I would hope that you would be an ambassador to the sport and even wear your knee and elbow pads and be a good example to all the youth that look up to you all as heroes! So be a good example.
Will there be a area for just the beginners?
We will have an area with little difficulty just for the beginners of all ages.
Are scooters allowed in the park?
    Only in the beginner park.
    Will there be competition events?
Yes, for many different age groups, amateur, and sponsored.
