 FIRS から６月にスイスのチューリッヒで第３回マスタークラスのマラソンが開催されると告知されました。レースは３０、４０、５０、６０と各年齢別に勝者が決まります。ただ大会前１ヶ月の発表に対し、もっともマスタークラスのスケート人口が多く、別スケジュールでレースが進行しているアメリカの反発は必至のようです。これからは日本でもマスターなスケーターが増えるとイイですね。
 All masters are invited to participate at this big event in Switzerland next June 17. The 3rd World Masters Marathon Championships are scheduled in Zurich ( Switzerland) next June 17. For further information, please see CIC circular letter and info from Local Organisers.

3rd WORLD MASTERS MARATHON CHAMPIONSHIPS
MEN AND LADIES OVER 30, 40, 50, 60

It’s a great pleasure to announce the this year’s Senior World Masters Championships for speed skating over the marathon distance.
 As a worldwide leading federation for all roller sports it is important for us, in accordance with our marketing concept, to support new movements, but also to give older athletes the opportunity to become world champion.
Dear Presidents of all national federations, dear Coaches, dear Actives – I ask you all to come with as many athletes from as many countries as possible to Zurich. At the same time I thank the Organisers of the World Inline Cup Zurich which takes place the same time for this big Inline party.
All participating skaters are kindly requested to send their final entries within and not later than June 12, 2007:
ENTRY FEESEach skater will pay the following entry fee: 50 EUR if entered within June 12th
20 EUR if already registered for the Zurich World Inline Cup (Categories Speed or Fitness)

Notes: the helmet is mandatory. All skaters will be provided an active transponder included in his starting number and has to deliver it back after the race.
