K2K
The K2K 130km skate from Kiryu to Kasai was held Oct. 29th. The route of K2K passes through 6 prefectures, Gunma, Tochigi, Ibaraki, Chiba, Saitama and Tokyo along 3 rivers, Watarase river, Tone river, Edo river. It is not race but also be outlaw skate without support.

Four participants, Fujii and Luis and Noro and I, met at Tokyo early morning and took on the train for 1 hour and 45 minutes to get the starting point Kiryu. There were not rain but a pavement was wetted yet by night rain.

We started to skate from SakuraNishiki Bridge just 9:00am to get the finish point Kasai before sunset.

took half hour break at Sekiyado on the midway

We have done it before sunset. Finish time was 16:42.

How to use the route maps
The other K2K-130km, leave Kiryu at 5:30am, will take place Nov. 4th 2006. You need to stay at Kiryu the day before the K2K. Meet at the Family Mart Store 5:30am near Kiryu JR station. It takes about 10 hours and some to get Kasai. The route is almost same but the speed is not fast.
