| Anyang-si, is located at the center of the Gyeonggi-do, about 25q south of Seoul, the capital city of the Republic of Korea, and 19q away from the provincial office, Suwon. It is only 44q away from Incheon-si, the gate of West Sea.
Anyang is geographically neighboring the Metropolitan city, Seoul, and five major cities.

| The World's Roller Skaters will Run to Anyang in September | The 2006 World Roller Speed Skating Championships, which will start in Korea on September 1, is anticipated to draw much attention from the world.
The international roller skating competition is scheduled to take place at the Anyang Inline Roller Stadium in Anyang, Gyeonggi Province during the period from September 1 through September 9, according to the Organizing Committee of the 2006 World Roller Speed Skating Competition.
The world roller speed skating competition will be attended by more than 1,000 skating players from many nations in the world. The roller skaters from about 50 countries, including Korea and the United Stats, will compete in the international championships. A total of 12 competing events will be held in the world competition.
The Korean roller speed skating team aims for the third place in the overall ranking at the international event.
Korea was selected as a nation to host the 2006 World Roller Speed Skating Championships in the plenary meeting of the International Roller Sports Federation held in the U.S. last November.
