２６日、中国・重慶でビジネス街の治安を守る１０名の Roller Police 隊が重慶警察に誕生したようです。写真で見ると・・・新宿？って思えるほど都会化してます。それに伴って犯罪も都会化しているのでしょう、機動力がある Roller Police の活躍に期待。 朝日新聞によると・・・「男性３０人、女性２０人で構成され、２４時間体制で街をパトロール。窃盗や障害の容疑者が走って逃げても、ローラースケートで追いつき逮捕する。」・・・そうです。 １０人３交代制の２４時間勤務って事なのかな。

The Chongqing police is beginning to put on inline skates for patrol

On January 26, ten Chongqing policemen putting on inline skates began to work in a down town of numerous business center. They have developed to the patrols who captures the illegal member. The speed skating policeman could be able to gather in the walk street quick and patrol the territory conveniently . "Roller police" patrol Chongqing

Photo taken on Jan. 26 shows that a team of "roller police" is conducting a round of exercises in pursuing and capturing lawbreakers in southwest China's Chongqin municipality. Some ten rollers appeared along the busiest pedestrian street in Chongqing city, conducting a round of exercises of patrolling, pursuing and capturing lawbreakers with the presence of local citizens. Local public security department launched a trio-patrol of police cars, policemen as well as roller to ensure the public security of the city and safety of locals.
