Each skate would feature three wheels arranged in a triangular configuration. This would result in enhanced balance for novice skaters and enhanced maneuverability for more advanced skaters. The boot of each skate would feature an open, shell-like design and would not include a boot liner, but would rather be designed for placement directly over or around an individual's shoe. The boot shell found on conventional inline skate boots. These straps would be located over the lower frontal portion of the boot, near its instep, and on its upper portion. The underside of each strap configuration would also likely feature a layer of neoprene padding, which would provide a degree of comfort against the wearer's feet.
